Shared ownership calculator (for part buy / part rent - including new build home buy and resales): the calculator is linked to a database of shared ownership mortgage rates in the market today to give you a robust estimate not only of whether you can borrow what you are looking for, but also, how much it might cost
Open market mortgage calculator: this calculator covers all types of outright purchase, such as buying with friends or family members, or standard purchases by singles and couples, but also covers open market shared equity such as homebuy direct and mychoice homebuy. Please note that as this calculator potentially covers a wide range of lenders, it should not be referred to as an accurate guide for our Britannia exclusive which has its own salary multiples.

Mortgage calculator – see how much you could borrow alone or as a couple, with friends, family or on a shared ownership mortgage. A basic estimate.
Agreement in principle – you provide detailed personal information and we respond with detailed illustrations for a choice of specific mortgage products currently available in the market. If you like one of the products, you can then request a non-binding decision from the lender confirming whether they would agree in principle to lend you that amount, subject to valuation and income verification. This can be very useful to prove to a vendor or housing association that you are able to purchase a property.
