Full mortgage application

Applying for a mortgage in full

If you have found a property that you wish to buy and your offer has been accepted by the vendor, you are now in a position to apply 'in full'. To do this, you complete an agreement in principle application stating that you have had an offer accepted by the seller. On receipt of your application:

  • We will reply with illustrations for products that you could apply for.
  • If you like one you can then request a credit check with that lender and if you pass, your application will automatically be converted into a full application and at that point you just log back in to give us the ‘property and payment details’ (e.g. address of property you are buying; details of your solicitor and the estate agent, etc).
  • We will then request any additional paperwork and fees that we need before we can submit the application.
  • Once the lender has received your full application and the fees are paid, the product rate is 'booked' and will not change. At the same time, the application can be processed and the valuation instructed.

Important note for joint applications

Where there is more than one applicant, it is NOT necessary for each person to start their own application form. Instead, whoever starts the application by clicking the link below will be designated as the ‘lead applicant’. The lead applicant will then write summary details for each applicant, making sure that they are applicant number 1. We will then use this summary information to create an application form on our server and we will send each of you an email so that you can log in and complete your own part of the application. The log in also enables you to save any incomplete applications and return to them at a later date.
