Further afield, the M54 is only 30 minutes away, with easy access to the M6 and the northwest, as well as Wales. The M5 is also a 30 minute drive, with access to the south west and the M42.

Blakeley Heath, Westfield Community School and Saint Johns C of E are the local primary schools, which all possess good Ofsted reports. The main secondary education provider is Wombourne High School, which is in the centre of the village.
