Rosebrook Court is an extra-care retirement housing scheme in Bitterne Park, Southampton. We are very proud of our extra-care schemes. Their features and facilities enable residents to receive the support they need to live as independently as possible. Extra care housing also helps couples who thought they might no longer be able to live together due to one having a care need and the other able to live independently.

Extra Care is organised in conjunction with Social Services. The trained care team will assess every resident's care requirements on an individual basis and devise a 'care plan' to suit their needs. The care plan will be continually reviewed to ensure that it meets the resident's needs as they change over time.

Applicants must complete an Expression of Interest form and arrange to view the property, this can be found in the downloads tab.

Upon request, applicants must provide supporting documentation noted on the Expression of Interest form so a thorough affordability assessment can be carried out - It is a Saxon Weald requirement that applicants have a maximum of £500,000 available to them in savings, assets and sale proceeds at the time of applying. Applicants who exceed this amount will be automatically declined, unless there are exceptional circumstances. Please ask for further details.

If the affordability assessment is successful a Scheme and Care Manager assessment is to be carried out.

On successful completion of both assessments above, applicants will be issued with a formal offer to purchase which will need to be accepted alongside a reservation fee of £500.
