A local connection is classed as having lived in Beccles for the preceding 3 years, worked in Beccles for the preceding 3 years, have parents or close family (i.e. mother, father, son or daughter) who are over 18 and who have lived in Beccles for the preceding 5 years, can demonstrate some other local connection to Beccles to be reviewed by East Suffolk council or due to lack of suitable accommodation was forced within the preceding 3 years to move away from Beccles.
