Minterne Apartments is a new Extra Care scheme for people over the age of 55 in Hammersmith & Fulham, London. The scheme is brought to you by Housing 21; an award-winning and sector-leading, not for profit housing provider for older people of modest means.
Extra Care is different to a care home. Living in an Extra Care scheme means you continue to live independently in your new home, exactly as you do now, but with the peace of mind that having help on hand brings. You have your own front door and letterbox; can have friends and family to visit (without asking permission) and can bring pets along with you. The only difference is that here you have an on-site care team available 24/7, an on-site Manager and access to communal facilities – if you want to use them.
Minterne Apartments has been carefully designed to provide fully accessible facilities for residents and the local community. Treat yourself to coffee and cake or a hot meal in the impressive on-site café/bistro, or socialise with like-minded residents in the communal lounge and gardens.
The scheme is located within White City/ Shepherd’s Bush in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The area is quickly establishing itself as a new West London community and destination with excellent transport connections, outdoor spaces and an abundance of shops and places to eat and drink within the Westfield Shopping Centre.
