Where is Wadebridge?Located on the Northern part of Cornwall, Wadebridge is halfway between Bodmin and Padstow and not too far away from Newquay. What to do in Wadebridge?It's hard not to fall in love with the beauty that is The Cornish Quarter in Wadebridge. The beautiful scenery and far-reaching views show Cornwall off at its absolute best. At the heart of The Cornish Quarter offers a small open space with the homes circling around and not too far away, you find the infamous Camel Trail with 18 miles of incredible scenery to be enjoyed. Nearby, you also have a selection of incredible beaches for those delightful summer days.
Where to go in Wadebridge?Wadebridge is a delightful market town with its pedestrianised town centre offering a mixture of independent shops, cosy cafes, fantastic restaurants and a selection of pubs. This truly is a magnificent corner of Cornwall which you could call home.
Not too far away, you will find the Camel Creek Adventure Park, perfect for a day out with the kids or if a National Trust site is more your thing, Lanhydrock is less than ten miles away as is Prideaux Place.
Over the summer, The Big Lunch sees locals come together to eat, drink and celebrate with an incredible street party in the pedestrianised town centre. The Rock Oyster Festival in July is a festival with true character celebrating local food and great music on the outskirts of the town. You also have the Cornwall Folk Festival with five nights of music across the main stage, within the local pubs and through the streets of the town showing off the genre's best musicians.
Bodmin is a short distance away with rail links to Truro, Penzance and Newquay and a selection of A-roads connect you to Plymouth, Exeter and beyond.
The winding streets with a large number of independent stores makes it easy to spend a day browsing and the selection of fantastic eateries has Wadebridge recognised as an up-and-coming spot for the foodies amongst us thanks to the local produce on offer.
