Eligibility

To be eligible for one of this home you must be employed in one of the following sectors:

  • National Health Service (NHS) (including North West London CCG
  • London Fire Brigade
  • Metropolitan Police
  • State Schools and Education (teachers and staff)
  • Front line child care and social workers

The qualifying income criteria is from a minimum £25,0000 and maximum household income of £60,000 per year.

To pass the affordability assessment, we recommend that the rent and service charges should not exceed 30% of your monthly household income.

As part of the application process, you will be required to provide supporting documentation including references from your employer and landlord as well as a financial assessment. There will also be a credit check for all shortlisted applicants.

How does it work?

1. Register your interest by completing the application form.

2. We use prioritisation criteria to shortlist applicants; length of time working and living in the borough will be given highest priority. Further information can be found in the Key worker and intermediate policy clause 5 - Key Worker and Intermediate Housing Policy - Accessible v.4.pdf

3. If shortlisted you will need to provide supporting evidence including:

  • proof of living in the borough
  • proof of work address
  • copies of payslips
  • copies of bank statements

4. Successful applicants will be invited to view the scheme and select from available properties

5. Successful applicants will be offered an assured tenancy with our partners Westminster City Homes.
