I bought this as an Old Person's shared ownership home in 2022 for a maximum share, no rent ever applies to it. The service charge is £7.95 a month. I wanted to downsize work and retire to an affordable property near the Suffolk Coast. It was a bright, warm comfortable house I loved it.

The main living room with kitchen off was a bit small for having a dining table bigger than for two. I invested pension savings in increasing the space to create an open plan sitting room and dining room with bifold doors . I also put french windows from the bedroom out to the garden. There are excellent dog walks a 5 minute walk from the front door, and the beach is a 5 minute drive.

I built a side extension, to create plenty of storage, a place for the integrated washing machine and separate dryer, for a sink and a front and back door access without walking through the main house.

I put in a new kitchen. The Neff cooker, fridge freezer and dish washer are integrated. There is a NEST thermostat, the heating can be controlled thorough a phone app and manually. The eco setting adds to efficiency.

I put in new ceiling lights on dimmer switches and new floors throughout the communal areas while retaining carpets and curtains for the bedrooms.

I added double glazing doors and windows with integrated blinds inside the glass, no dusting nor curtains!

I added built in cupboards for the hallway and the bathroom.

We laid new lawns front and back and planted roses, a few crab apple trees and potted plants for the new patio.

There is also a new wired-in Ring doorbell and security camera.

The house is in very good order and ready to walk into. The house is being sold for 80% of the market share, protected 80 % for future sale.
