Find out more about the Manchester Home Show Spring 2025 and how to register for your ticket below.

What is the Manchester Home Show?

Hosted by Share to Buy, the Manchester Home Show is a one-stop shop to help you navigate affordable homeownership opportunities. The exhibition brings together housing associations and industry specialists so you can learn more about the various renting and buying schemes, get expert advice on mortgages and find answers to all your questions about purchasing a home.

It’s a sister event to the bi-annual London Home Show, which has run since 2013 and proven hugely popular. Since it began, we’ve welcomed over 83,000 attendees, many of which have gone on to purchase a Shared Ownership home, or through various other buying schemes.

What is Shared Ownership?

Shared Ownership is a government-backed scheme that can be a more affordable way to buy a home than on the open market. It allows you to purchase a share of a leasehold property, usually between 10% and 75%, with the option to increase your share to 100% as your income rises. You’ll pay rent on the share you don’t own to your housing association.

You can learn more about the initiative and all the other alternative housing schemes at the Manchester Home Show. In the meantime, our Shared Ownership hub has lots of resources providing more information.

Who should attend the Manchester Home Shown?

If you’re a first time buyer in Manchester, a renter wanting to save a deposit, a home mover looking to upsize or downsize, or don’t currently own a home but want to explore your options, then this event is for you.

Whether you’re at the start of your journey and unsure where to begin, feeling overwhelmed by the rising cost of homeownership, or simply finding everything a little confusing, you’ll be able to get practical and valuable advice at the Manchester Home Show.

What’s on at the Manchester Home Show?

The exhibition is designed to give you all the information you need to pursue housing schemes like Intermediate Rent, Rent to Buy and Shared Ownership in Manchester and the North West. At the event, you’ll be able to:
