Guest Blog: Barratt London hosting Help to Buy events across the capital
Barratt London are hosting a number of Help to Buy events at a selection of their developments this month.
A number of Barratt sites across London will be available for buyers to visit on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th May, between 11am and 4pm.
Purchasers can attend open days at developments in Greenwich, Catford, Colindale, Harrow and Hendon. The open days will enable budding buyers to meet with new build mortgage advisers and London Help to Buy representatives who will be happy to answer any questions and see if you could qualify for the scheme!
Helping both first time buyers and existing homeowners, Barratt London’s Help to Buy homes offers buyers the chance to purchase a one, two or three bedroom apartment in ideal Zone 2-5 locations by this summer.
Help to Buy is a government backed scheme which aims to help first time buyers get a foot onto the property ladder. If purchasing a property in Greater London, the government will provide a loan of up to 40% of the home, so the purchaser only needs to raise a 5% deposit, with a 55% mortgage making up the rest.
