London Home Show Countdown: Catalyst

Celebrating Southall

Here at Catalyst Homes, we pride ourselves on being one of the UK’s leading housing associations. Concerning ourselves with making sure that you can achieve that lifetime goal of owning your own high-quality home, we offer a range of opportunities that will help you get off of the rental roundabout and onto the property ladder.

Southall, but not as you know it.

We provide a range of homes across London and the South East ranging from stylish, city-living apartments to characteristic family and starter homes. In this moment however, we want to shift your focus onto our developments that sit in the area of Southall, including Southall Village, Aspire and ARRO at Southall Waterside.

Southall is a beautifully unique area of West London, filled with an array of culture and experiences. There’s always something to keep you on your toes in this effervescent pocket of London. Often described as vibrant, diverse and unforgettable, we couldn’t think of a better place for these three developments to be based.

Despite having three wonderfully contemporary developments in the Southall area, ARRO at Southall Waterside is undoubtedly one of our most exciting developments to date. Plus, with a host of additional amenities of its own on the way, we can’t think of a better place to call home. The new additions will include new leisure and retail facilities such as a cinema, multiple restaurants and some beautiful, open piazzas. With these amenities in tow, ARRO at Southall Waterside will not only be a top development, but a go-to destination. Alongside these exciting additions to the development, a new school and health centre are also set to join the list of facilities available to residents, making ARRO at Southall Waterside an enviable location and the ideal place for your new home.

With the upcoming input of Crossrail, or the Elizabeth Line as it is now known, Southall will benefit from a new high-speed, high-frequency and high-capacity line for London and the South East. Once it is completed, the railway line will open up faster and more frequent commuting opportunities into the capital whilst also providing a number of improvements to the existing Southall station. With a redeveloped station entrance, a new ticket hall, new lifts, and platform extensions planned to name just a few, it’s fair to say that Southall’s future is looking bright.

How does Shared Ownership work?

Offering Shared Ownership* as a buying option for our homes is something that we’re grateful to be doing for our customers. After all, giving them an easy, hassle-free process is at the top of our to-do list. With an incredibly helpful part-buy, part-rent structure, the Shared Ownership scheme makes the process of buying a new home much easier and far more affordable. By buying only a share of your home (between 25% to 75% of the asking price), you pay a smaller amount when it comes to your deposit and mortgage. The remaining percentage is covered through monthly rent payments, allowing you to cover the cost of your new home in a more affordable way whilst knowing that you own a portion of it.

To help our customers understand the way that the Shared Ownership scheme works, we set out a helpful little guide which you can find here.
