With the upcoming input of Crossrail, or the Elizabeth Line as it is now known, Southall will benefit from a new high-speed, high-frequency and high-capacity line for London and the South East. Once it is completed, the railway line will open up faster and more frequent commuting opportunities into the capital whilst also providing a number of improvements to the existing Southall station. With a redeveloped station entrance, a new ticket hall, new lifts, and platform extensions planned to name just a few, it’s fair to say that Southall’s future is looking bright.
How does Shared Ownership work?
Offering Shared Ownership* as a buying option for our homes is something that we’re grateful to be doing for our customers. After all, giving them an easy, hassle-free process is at the top of our to-do list. With an incredibly helpful part-buy, part-rent structure, the Shared Ownership scheme makes the process of buying a new home much easier and far more affordable. By buying only a share of your home (between 25% to 75% of the asking price), you pay a smaller amount when it comes to your deposit and mortgage. The remaining percentage is covered through monthly rent payments, allowing you to cover the cost of your new home in a more affordable way whilst knowing that you own a portion of it.
