Over 3,400 attend the London Home Show Autumn 2021

First London Home Show post-lockdown welcomes thousands of budding buyers

On Saturday 18th September 2021, Share to Buy welcomed over 3,400 first time buyers to the fourteenth live London Home Show event at the QEII Centre in Westminster.

After 18 months without in-person events, Share to Buy were thrilled to bring the London Home Show back to the QEII Centre this autumn. The free event is the capital’s biggest exhibition for first time buyers, and offered attendees the chance to speak with 45 exhibitors all under one roof.

A range of Shared Ownership and Help to Buy providers, alongside mortgage brokers and conveyancing solicitors, offered free advice to thousands of hopeful buyers looking to get a foot on the property ladder. Additionally, attendees were also able to learn more about quality rental alternatives including London Living Rent and Build to Rent.

Exhibitors included the biggest names in first time buyer developments across London and the Home Counties, including sponsors L&QSouthern Home OwnershipLatimer by Clarion Housing GroupNotting Hill Genesis, Peabody, Catalyst New HomesSO Resi by Metropolitan Thames Valley, Countryside Properties, Galliard Homes, Red Loft, JLL and Savills.

Budding buyers were invited to attend live ‘Ask the Expert’ sessions with a panel of industry experts, including speakers from Catalyst New Homes, Latimer by Clarion Housing Group, SO Resi by Metropolitan Thames Valley, JLL, Red Loft, Savills, De Havilland Group Ltd, Censeo Financial, Visionary Finance, PCS Legal, Direction Law and Alexander JLO Solicitors.

A new offering at the autumn event, guests were also able to attend a series of first time buyer workshops which took place throughout the day. Attendees could learn more about their affordability and the mortgage process from Neil Moakes at De Havilland Group Ltd, attend a first time buyer seminar with Kate Faulkner from FirstHomeCoach, and find out about gradual homeownership with James Tesar and Cal Graham of Wayhome.

The next London Home Show will take place in spring 2022 – register with Share to Buy be kept up to date ahead of the next exhibition.
