The first Virtual London Home Show welcomes over a thousand budding buyers
Share to Buy’s no.1 first time buyer event went digital for the first time this spring
On Saturday 24th April 2021, Share to Buy welcomed 1,100 budding buyers to our first ever Virtual London Home Show!
It’s been an extremely challenging year but we understand that now more than ever, people are looking to the future. It’s also clear that the stability of having a home to call your own has never been more important. It’s because of this that we wanted to help first time buyers who are looking to get a foot on the property ladder!
The Virtual London Home Show offered attendees the chance to access expert video sessions and educational content, search for homes across London and the Home Counties, and speak directly with almost 30 exhibitors including housing providers, mortgage brokers, conveyancing solicitors, and other providers of first time buyer services.
Exhibitors included some of the leading names in first time buyer homes and we would like to say a huge thank you to our sponsors – Catalyst New Homes, Clarion Housing, L&Q, Peabody, SO Resi by Metropolitan Thames Valley, Southern Home Ownership, Guinness Homes, Countryside Properties, Red Loft and Savills.
The London Home Show is usually hosted at the QEII Centre in Westminster each spring and autumn, and we were devastated when we had to cancel our physical events in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But by bringing our no.1 first time buyer event online this year, we were able to give potential purchasers access to everything they would have had at our in-person events, just from the comfort of their own home!
